Great Is Thy Faithfulness

Well, this week has been hectic to say the least and unfortunately I was only able to post something I read in my devotions once this week. No hope for any other posts this week, for tomorrow I leave for Celebration North 2007! The approach of this conference has made me think and ponder about many things, past, present and future. It made me think about Celebration last year and how right before the conference, the Lord had given me a profound peace and joy that had been floundering in the previous few months before that. By His grace, that same peace and joy has not only lasted, but grown to a depth that I never could have imagined. When considering the past, present and future, one thing shines bright and clear,and that is the amazing faithfulness of God. I am so excited for what He has done in my life, what He is doing, and what He will do!

Great is Thy faithfulness, O God my Father;
There is no shadow of turning with Thee;
Thou changest not, Thy compassions, they fail not;
As Thou hast been, Thou forever will be.

Great is Thy faithfulness!
Great is Thy faithfulness!
Morning by morning new mercies I see.
All I have needed Thy hand hath provided;
Great is Thy faithfulness, Lord, unto me!

Summer and winter and springtime and harvest,
Sun, moon and stars in their courses above
Join with all nature in manifold witness
To Thy great faithfulness, mercy and love.

Pardon for sin and a peace that endureth
Thine own dear presence to cheer and to guide;
Strength for today and bright hope for tomorrow,
Blessings all mine, with ten thousand beside!
